Anchorage Digital Brings Federally Issued Stablecoins to Securitize, the World's Largest Tokenization Platform

Anchorage Digital, home to America's first federally regulated crypto bank, today announced a partnership with Securitize, the world's largest tokenization platform by assets under management, providing direct mint and redemption of stablecoins issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A.

For institutions transacting on Securitize, the dollar side of a tokenized trade can now meet the same counterparty and custody standards they already apply to the securities side. Rather than sourcing stablecoins through intermediaries, Securitize mints and redeems them directly with Anchorage Digital Bank, which also handles custody and settlement. One federally chartered bank handles every stage, from the moment a dollar is minted to the moment it is redeemed.

Securitize (NYSE: SECZ) is the regulated infrastructure layer behind tokenized funds from Apollo, BlackRock, BNY, Hamilton Lane, KKR, and VanEck, with more than $4 billion in assets on platform. Those funds are built to institutional standards. The partnership extends that standard to the dollars that settle against them.

A Growing Ecosystem of Federally Issued Stablecoins

Anchorage Digital Bank's stablecoin issuance ecosystem includes USDtb, issued in partnership with Ethena Labs, and USA₮, developed with Tether, alongside issuance relationships with other major financial and digital asset companies.

USDtb demonstrates how tokenized traditional financial assets are increasingly supporting the stablecoin economy. BlackRock's BUIDL fund, tokenized by Securitize, serves as a major reserve asset backing USDtb, connecting institutional money market assets with regulated digital dollars.

USDtb demonstrates how tokenized traditional financial assets are increasingly supporting the stablecoin economy. As of August 31, 2026, approximately 99% of USDtb's $530 million in reserves were held in BlackRock's BUIDL fund, tokenized by Securitize, according to Anchorage Digital Bank's independently attested reserve report. This illustrates how institutional money market assets are already serving as foundational infrastructure for regulated digital dollars.

"Anchorage Digital Bank is purpose-built to issue stablecoins at scale under federal oversight. Securitize is where the world's largest asset managers bring funds onchain, and now the dollars moving through that platform come from a federally chartered bank. Regulated issuance is what lets tokenization reach institutional scale.”—Nathan McCauley, Co-Founder & CEO, Anchorage Digital

The tokenized real-world asset market grew from roughly $23 billion at the end of 2025 to $31 billion as of March 2026, according to rwa.xyz data. Almost all of that growth sits with institutions that hold their securities to exacting counterparty and custody standards, but have had no equivalent option for the cash side. Primary access changes that calculus. Dollars are minted and redeemed directly with the issuing bank rather than sourced through intermediaries, and they stay in segregated accounts at a national trust bank for as long as they are held.

"We built Securitize on the conviction that every stock, bond, and fund eventually becomes a digital asset. Getting there means the dollar side of every transaction has to hold up to the same scrutiny as the securities side. Working with Anchorage Digital Bank gives us direct access to digital dollars issued under federal oversight, custodied by the same institution that issues them." — Carlos Domingo, Chairman and CEO of Securitize

This partnership extends Anchorage Digital Bank's leadership in regulated stablecoin infrastructure and reinforces its role as a regulated dollar layer for institutional digital asset markets.

As more of the world's assets move onchain, the dollars they trade against will be held to the same standard. That is the infrastructure Anchorage Digital is building. For more information on Anchorage Digital Bank's stablecoin issuance platform, please get in touch.
