Digital Wealth Partners (DWP) sits where traditional wealth management meets digital assets, giving financial advisors a way to offer crypto custody and trading to their clients. As one of the anchor firms on Anchorage Digital’s Wealth platform, what began as a straightforward custody arrangement has grown to span custom asset support, treasury management, reward generation, and sub-advisory services.

The Challenge

DWP needed a regulated, institutional-grade partner that could handle far more than custody. It was looking for support across the full lifecycle of a wealth firm’s crypto operations: advisor-facing tooling, client onboarding, bespoke asset support, and multi-entity account structures.

That last piece mattered. DWP runs two distinct legal entities, one managing advisor client relationships and the other managing pooled investment funds, so it needed a partner who could navigate the billing, compliance, and structural demands of both. DWP also needed Anchorage Digital to move fast on specific assets, including XDC, an EVM-compatible network built for institutional and trade finance use cases like tokenization and real-world assets (RWAs).

The Solution: What We Built Together

Wealth platform. DWP has been a cornerstone client of Anchorage Digital’s Wealth platform since day one. In a single quarter, platform assets under custody jumped from $101M to $133M, a 32% increase, with DWP driving a significant share of those inflows.

XDC asset support. Anchorage Digital added custody and trading for XDC specifically to serve DWP’s clients, opening access to tokenized real-world assets and institutional trade finance infrastructure for advisors and the people they serve.

Sub-advisory services. DWP widened the relationship into a sub-advisory arrangement, giving its clients access to sophisticated strategies like derivatives and options, with periodic distributions flowing back into their Anchorage Digital accounts.

Treasury management. Anchorage Digital helps DWP manage its corporate treasury separately from client program funds, with clean account structures and clear compliance separation across entities.

Fund administration. Anchorage Digital supports DWP’s fund operations, including its Digital Asset Income Fund and Digital Asset Growth Fund, with reporting and audit confirmation services.
