Anchorage Digital's Rachel Anderika to Testify Before House Financial Services Committee on the Future of Payments

Anchorage Digital is proud to share that Rachel Anderika, Head of Global Operations, will appear before the House Financial Services Committee at a hearing entitled "Future of Payments: Promoting Innovation and Fair Markets" next Wednesday, June 24th at 10:00 AM ET.

Anderika has spent her career at the exact intersection of banking, payments and innovation, and for over five years has helped lead the nation’s first federally chartered crypto bank. Before joining Anchorage Digital, she served for nearly a decade as a National Bank Examiner at the OCC, ensuring that national banks operated safely and soundly. She then helped build Promontory Financial Group's Digital Assets Risk and Compliance team, guiding custodians through the state and federal regulatory licensing process. When she joined Anchorage Digital, she became its first Chief Risk Officer, pioneering the buildout and oversight of a compliance program that created the blueprint for others in the industry to follow.

As the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States — having navigated the full path from state licensure to federal charter — Anchorage Digital has a singular vantage point on what it takes to bring digital assets into the regulated U.S financial system responsibly.

We look forward to Anderika bringing that perspective to the Committee, and we're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the policy conversation that will shape the future of digital finance in the United States.
