Bridging traditional fiat infrastructure to an onchain global payment hub

OSL Group is a global stablecoin payment and trading platform that bridges the gap between traditional enterprise finance and digital asset markets.

Operating entirely on a B2B axis—including institutional OTC services, B2B2C via Banxa, and B2B2B via BizPay—OSL provides enterprises with a native, compliant settlement instrument. Today, stablecoins are the firm's core product, accounting for over 60% of exchange transaction volume and nearly 100% of payment platform volume.

The challenge

Overcoming institutional barriers in cross-border payments

As OSL sought to build a global payment hub, existing fiat infrastructure and third-party stablecoins hindered its ability to serve enterprise clients effectively. The team identified several bottlenecks:

  • Fragmented compliance: Navigating inconsistent global licenses and reserve transparency requirements was too complex for cross-border, enterprises-scale transfers.
  • Intermediary friction: Relying on correspondent banks and FX brokers added unnecessary cost, latency, and opacity to the settlement chain.
  • Perception gap: Corporate treasurers viewed stablecoins as risky assets rather than secure cash-management tools, hindering institutional adoption.

The solution

Full-stack stablecoin issuance and settlement via Anchorage Digital

OSL partnered with Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A. as the exclusive issuer and banking partner for its native stablecoin, USDGO. This alliance combines the high-velocity efficiency of global digital payments with the rigorous oversight of a federally chartered bank:

  • Institutional trust & security: OSL required a compliance architecture that provided the definitive security layer needed to manage enterprise capital. As the first crypto-native institution to hold a federal bank charter from the OCC, Anchorage Digital ensures USDGO’s reserves are held under federal banking standards, subject to federal examination, and structured for bankruptcy remoteness.
  • High-performance global settlement: OSL provides sub-second settlement and minimal transaction costs by leveraging Anchorage Digital's native issuance and cross-chain settlement on high-throughput networks like Solana.
  • Seamless on-ramp liquidity: OSL reduces enterprise operational overhead by offering zero-fee "fiat-to-USDGO" conversions across 28 currencies and in over 10 regions, powered by OSL’s integrated Banxa infrastructure and Anchorage Digital’s banking rails.

The results

Sub-second settlement and a new class of enterprise service

Since partnering with Anchorage Digital, OSL has achieved transformational improvements across its enterprise payment operations:

  • 90%+ lower transaction costs: By moving away from SWIFT and intermediary charges, transaction costs have been slashed from up to 5% to between 0.1% and 0.5%.
  • 24/7 onchain settlement: Cross-border settlement times have been reduced from 1-5 business days to instant, round-the-clock execution.
  • Digital treasury activation: Enterprises can now park idle stablecoins and receive incentives as Stable Alliance members, activating idle capital while maintaining instant liquidity for operational needs.
  • Global enterprise adoption: OSL can now offer a full-stack, end-to-end service within its own compliance perimeter, positioning USDGO as a compliant treasury partner rather than just another token.
"OSL Group is dedicated to fostering an ecosystem of compliant stablecoin trading and payment. The partnership with Anchorage Digital Bank, the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., to issue USDGO under federal oversight equips us with regulatory clarity and strengthens our resolve to unlock the true potential of digital assets in serving the real global economy."

Looking ahead

Future-proofing for global expansion

With 67% of its revenue already generated overseas, OSL is focused on deepening its partnership with Anchorage Digital to drive its next phase of global growth.

USDGO will serve as OSL’s "global passport," carrying its compliance DNA into priority markets like Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, where traditional banking infrastructure is expensive or slow.

As the firm continues to scale its sophisticated operations, Anchorage Digital Bank's federally supervised infrastructure will serve as the high-performance engine for OSL's long-term enterprise adoption.
